VIP event to celebrate West Coast Cooler's Hello Night ad campaign

FASHIONISTAS will be donning their gladrags next month for a VIP event to celebrate West Coast Cooler's brand new Hello Night ad campaign, which features six couture designed dresses.

To mark the launch, a number of Irish fashion industry insiders have been invited to pit themselves against teams of rival fashion journalists and stylists to see if their team can be named Ireland's Fashion Royalty.

The invite-only event will take place at the Odessa Club on Tuesday, July 20.

  • FOUR of the country's hottest new acts -- The Cast of Cheers, We Cut Corners, Brian Deady and headline act Fight Like Apes -- will take to the stage tonight for the launch of the Hot Press Yearbook and Who's Who Launch party supported by Jameson.

The event will take place in the Academy and will kick off from 6.30pm.

Included in the Yearbook is an insight into the future of music and a special report on how Irish music and instrument shops are coping with online competition, as well as the usual Who's Who and the complete Industry Directory.

  • CHANNEL 4 star Davina McCall will be jetting in to town next month to host the Irish auditions for hit Sky1 series Got to Dance.

The dance tryouts will take place during the month of August, with the Dublin leg set to take place on August 14.

Aspiring dancers of all ages and styles are asked to apply on www.sky.com/dance in order to be in with a chance of winning an incredible £250,000 (€300,000) in prize money.

  • IN celebration of the World Cup, celeb haunt Krystle nightclub held a special Brazilian-themed One Night in Rio party on Friday night.

Guests including Breffny Morgan and Paolo Caffola enjoyed complimentary Brazilian cocktails on arrival.

Revellers could also avail of free admission by saying 'Brazil' before 12.30am or by wearing a yellow T-shirt, while drinks were priced at €4 throughout the night.
