Vegan poster girl Rosanna is picture of perfect health

Rosanna Davison has taken a leaf out of Linda McCartney's book and become a poster girl for vegans.

The Diary can reveal how the top model has turned her back on juicy steaks and dairy produce -- and feels better than ever as a result.

Last summer, she become involved in some international eco awards which promote a vegan lifestyle and took the extreme move to change her diet completely.

"It's better for your health, the environment and cruelty free," she explained.

The daughter of Chris de Burgh has now been chosen to film a series of TV ads for the Living and Discovery channels to promote her new eating plan.

"It spurred me on to totally cut out dairy, eggs and cheese and have a completely vegan diet. It's going well so far and I feel great. I've loads of energy and just feel so much lighter," she continued.

But she was 'chewing the fat' at Krystle's third birthday celebrations over the weekend. Co-owners Rangan Arulchelvan and Eileen Wright invited all the venue's members to join them for a raucous knees-up to mark the occasion.

Model Andrea Roche made the trek in from Citywest, as did hubbie PJ Mansfield and RTE star Leigh Arnold.

Several members of the Irish rugby team were in celebrating their victory over Fiji at the RDS last Saturday -- and even brought in some of their opponents with them.

Laura Toogood was there with boyfriend Nicky Arnold, while RTE star Jenny Buckley was also in with Michelle O'Doherty, while soccer stars Gary Kelly and Stephen Carr also joined in on the fun.

Miriam O'Callaghan's eldest daughter Alannah also made an appearance as she enjoyed a few quiet drinks with some pals.
