Trump Jr catches up with beauty Roz on flying visit to Dublin

Donald Trump Jr was mixing business with pleasure at the Shelbourne Hotel at the weekend.

The 33-year-old son of the world-famous tycoon, who was in town for the distressed property auction, was spotted letting his hair down at the venue.

Trump Jr took advantage of his time in the capital by partying the night away at the VIP haunt as he mingled with some of our best-known faces.

The mega-rich heir also met up with his dad's model protege Rozanna Purcell during his trip.

After coming in seventh at this year's Miss Universe competition and landing a coveted contract with Trump Model Management in New York, the Clonmel native is fast becoming one of the busiest new models on their books.

And the Trumps are clearly keen to keep a close eye on the Irish supermodel, as the pair are believed to have met for a catch-up at the weekend.

Roz was home from South Africa on a whirlwind visit at the weekend, before taking off for another modelling assignment in Paris yesterday.

Although she was only home for a few days, she still found time to fit in some TV work and was one of the guests on the upcoming TV3 reality show Celebrity Salon.

"Roz spent Saturday filming with the gang on Celebrity Salon but decided against joining them at the wrap-party as she had to be on an early flight the next morning," said an insider.

Meanwhile, Rosanna Davison was noticeably absent from the wrap party with her co-stars this weekend after jetting to London to celebrate her 27th birthday.

The Diary can reveal how the leggy model snubbed a bash with fellow contestants, including Georgia Salpa, Abi Titmuss, Aisleyne Horgan Wallace and Alan Hughes, at producer John Norton's apartment, in order to be fresh for her birthday bash last night.

Notorious ladies man, Calum Best, who will also feature on the series, skipped the party to return home to the UK to take part in yesterday's London marathon.

The source added: "They were all sorry that Rosanna and Calum couldn't be there after living and working together every day for the past couple of weeks but will be reunited again for the launch party."

Rosanna, meanwhile, celebrated in London in style last night with her long-term boyfriend Wesley Quirke, as well as Lillie's Bordello hostess Hayley Rock, her close friends Veronica Ryan and Gillian Fitzpatrick and fellow model Laura Toogood.

The beauty queen has a whirlwind schedule planned for her stay across the water, including dad Chris de Burgh's concert at the Albert Hall tonight.

The singer's Moonfleet tour has already taken in dates across Germany and he will perform in Dublin on May 29.
