RTE's Tracy Piggott has called on her celebrity pals to join her in her forthcoming Run to Africa event for her charity Playing for Life.
The horseracing presenter set up the organisation in 2005 to help provide new skills and medical training for impoverished people in Malawi, Kenya and Tanzania after a visit to Africa.
She has called on all her well known pals to join the 10km jog at St Anne's Park on September 12, including GAA stars Sean Og O hAilpin and Bernard Brogan, model Nadia Forde and comedy star Katherine Lynch.
"This is the first time we've done it and we have had a very good reaction.
"Because it's a tough time, a lot of charities are finding it hard but you just have to keep doing your bit and everything you raise goes towards a great cause."
Meanwhile, Tracy has revealed how she has no problem juggling being a mum to Tiah (3) with a busy TV career.
"Motherhood is great; it just gets better and better. Before her, I hadn't been around young kids that much but she really comes out with the funniest things."
