Tour with Chris Brown? Not a chance say the Rudeboys over his attack on Rihanna

RIHANNA may have moved on, but Dublin band The Original Rudeboys aren't quite so forgiving.

The Irish acoustic hip hop band has refused to support US superstar Chris Brown because of his attack on ex-girlfriend Rihanna (24).

Chris will be performing in the O2 on December 23 as part of his Carpe Diem world tour.

The Dublin trio were approached to support the Beautiful People singer but turned the gig down.

The Original Rudeboys have spoken out about domestic abuse in the past and believe that supporting Chris on the Irish leg on his tour would be hypocritical.

"With our single Blue Eyes being about domestic violence, it goes against everything we're about," said band member Sean Walsh.

Sean said even though it was an incredible opportunity they couldn't overlook Chris's brutal attack on Diamonds singer Rihanna.

"Even though it's a huge opportunity. We are completely against Chris Brown's assault on Rihanna," he said.

Sean went on to say supporting the star would send out the "wrong message" to their devoted fans.

Brown hit headlines in 2009 after shocking images of a bruised and battered Rihanna emerged.

Despite Brown still being on probation for his assault, Rihanna revealed in an interview with Oprah Winfrey that she had already forgiven her ex boyfriend.

And she is clearly attempting to put the incident behind her, having recently complained that the world "hasn't let go" regarding her abusive relationship with Brown.

In fact, there are rumours that Rihanna will be accompanying Chris on his tour and will be partying with her ex in Dulin.

The Original Rudeboys consist of front man Sean "Neddy" Arkins, Robert Burch and Sean Walsh.

The three met at a house party in East Wall in 2011 and have become an overnight success.

They supported former X Factor judge Cheryl Cole on her Million Lights Tour.

Meanwhile, Rihanna went out partying with her mum Monica Braithwaite last night when they both attended Rihanna's naming as the Queen of the West Hollywood Halloween Carnaval by the City of West Hollywood in celebration of Halloween 2012 at Greystone Manor Supperclub.
