Tommy Tiernan spends day with RTE orchestra

- COMEDIAN Tommy Tiernan spent the whole day yesterday out in RTE studios in Montrose with the full RTE orchestra recording 13 of his favourite songs for a one-off TV special.

Insiders are staying quiet as to when it will be screened, but we're predicting autumn.

What the insiders did say is that Tommy "sounded great".

"He sang stuff from The Carpenters and Neil Sedaka. Everyone was surprised how good he sounded," our source said.
