The high life? I'm Mrs Mop like any mum – Virginia

GLAMOROUS socialite Virginia Macari is busy living it up and playing happy families.

The TV star lounges next to her Norse fiance Kaste, baby boy Thor and a picnic basket with nothing but a magnum of champagne inside.

In another shot, Virginia smoulders and strikes a pose in a hallway.

The Dublin Wives star wears a a pale coffee-coloured dress while Kaste lurks in the shadows.

It's the high life for Virginia as she poses in front of a private jet with a smart black suitcase.

The 38-year-old looks into the distance and cuts a dash in a striking white trouser suit with a gold and black silk blouse.

But, despite appearances, Virginia says her life is far from glamorous. Forget a champagne popping, jet setting lifestyle; Virginia says she's just your typical Irish mammy.

"My life is like everyone else's," she told VIP Magazine. "I do all the washing, ironing and mopping up baby spills like any other mother.

"Since Thor arrived I'm a laundry woman, actually, the washing and ironing never stops. Not in my high heels let me tell you – it's tracksuit bottoms and the rest."

And the petite mum-of-one says there is nothing she hates more than getting her hair and make-up done.

"I hate getting it done because I have no patience. I'm just thinking, 'When is it going to be over?' It's a chore. A treat for me is sitting by the pool and reading a book with a cocktail not sitting on a chair and being poked at."

Kaste and Virginia will tie the knot next spring in front of 150 friends and her Dublin Wives co-stars Jo Jordan, Lisa Murphy and Roz Flanagan. The loved-up pair got engaged in New York last year.

But before the nuptials, it looks like Virginia could be following in her sister Sonya's footsteps.

The Italian beauty could be the star in an upcoming Hollywood rom-com.

"They have me in mind for a film role," she said. "I still feel a bit apprehensive. My sister Sonya is in LA though so that could help. It could be a lot of fun."
