Teen model Thalia back on the catwalk one day after Leaving Cert ended

There's no rest for the beautiful. Leggy model Thalia Heffernan (18) was busy back at work the day after her final Leaving Certificate exam.

And the teenager was back in top form as she posed for pictures at the Persil Fashion Awards.

The model – who was nominated for this year's VIP Most Stylish Newcomer – has clearly left the stress and study timetables behind her.

In the photos, Thalia wears a cute monochrome dress with her hair scraped up in a top knot. Fellow model Teodora Sutra is also in the shot – voguing and posing in a dramatic black mini-dress with high collar.

BRIGHT

Thalia celebrated the end of her exams by tucking into chocolate- covered strawberries and sipping a few glasses of prosecco.

After hitting the books hard in recent months, she is looking forward to kicking back and taking things easy when she heads off on holiday later this month.

"She worked really hard during the exams," a source said. "It was a marathon and she's glad to have them done and dusted.

"She plans on taking some time out and travelling – she really wants to see the world and, after all those hours revising, she deserves it."

The bright model has said in the past that she planned on taking a general degree. "I'm hoping to get into a simple enough degree which will allow me extra time on the side for modelling," Thalia said.

But Thalia may be putting college plans on hold for now and joining fellow Irish girls Hannah Devane and Lisa Madden over in London. "She has no set idea what she wants to do next," the source said.

"But she's looking to London – she thinks it's a great city. Thalia has a very high fashion look, which you need to make it in London."

Thalia wasn't the only model to have finally finished her exams. Celbridge native Eve Connolly (17), Assets model Georgia Gannon (18) and Latvian beauty Rasma Dzene have also finished their exams.
