Suzanne jets off to Spain for her week-long hen party

MODEL Suzanne McCabe is set to enjoy a send off to remember with a five-day hen do in Spain. Suzanne (28) and friends are jetting to Barcelona this weekend.

Suzanne's fiance Rob Buckley will also be celebrating the couple's forthcoming nuptials and is set to join his crew in Marbella for a stag party.

"There's a good crew of us heading over to Barcelona for the weekend for my hen," Suzanne explained.

"We're going to Barcelona and to Sitges for five days. I'm really looking forward to it now.

"I'm excited about just relaxing on the beach and chilling out for a few days as it's been a busy few months between work and organising the wedding.

"Rob is going to go to Marbella at the same time for his stag so we won't be too far apart."

The couple are due to tie the knot at an intimate ceremony on September 24, with their reception set to take place afterwards at the exclusive K Club in Kildare.

Assets model Suzanne admits that there are a number of high profile names on the guest-list but insists that she won't be divulging any information as to who has been invited.

The blonde beauty hit the headlines two years ago when she bared almost all for PETA's first ever Irish 'I'd rather go naked than wear fur' campaign.

And animal lover Suzanne says her commitment to the cause will continue on her wedding day, with the high profile model banning invitees from wearing fur on the day.

Guests were issued with a strict warning to leave the fur at home when they received their wedding invites earlier this month.

According to Suzanne: "We did put it on the invitations because people tend to like wearing fur to an event like a wedding.

"It would just take something like someone turning up wearing a dead animal to ruin it for me.

"The plans are all going great, most things are ready to go now. I've got some beautiful bridesmaids dresses from dresses.ie."

Suzanne has chosen Irish designer Fiona Todhunter to design her wedding gown, but will be keeping the details of the dress under wraps until the day.

The loved up couple will delay their honeymoon until November, when they take off for Australia.
