Superstar Mel hits the town after Jesus run

THERE was no stopping Spice Girl Mel C when she came to Dublin for a fun-filled weekend.

The singer took to the stage for a two-night run at the O2 in Jesus Christ Superstar, performing to a packed audience.

And she decided to hit the town afterwards with some of her fellow cast-mates, including DJ Chris Moyles and Ben Forster, as the whole gang headed to Lillie's Bordello.

To cap off their successful run in Ireland they pressed the flesh in the VIP area of the club, all looking keen to celebrate.

Other familiar faces in there included sisters Virginia and Sonya Macari, who appeared on the Late Late Show on Friday night, alongside Guggi, Paul Cusack and Emma Waldron.

Also spotted were Karl Spain, comedian Katherine Lynch and GAA stars Bernard and Paul Brogan.

Meanwhile, up in Buck's Townhouse, best-selling author Cecelia Ahern was enjoying a rare night out. She came with a group of family and friends ahead of the launch of her new book.

Leinster star Fergus McFadden was also in with a few of his team-mates, as were UK footballers James Beattie and Billy Sharpe.
