A SUPER svelte Ruth Griffin stole the show from Hollywood heavyweights Adam Sandler and Chris Rock at the red carpet European premiere of their new movie.
The newly single beauty -- who recently split from rugby player husband Alan Quinlan -- shocked onlookers by unveiling what looked like a Cheryl Cole-inspired makeover as she attended the star-studded Grown Ups screening in the Savoy cinema. Looking thinner than ever, Ruth (34) fuelled speculation she has dropped at least another dress size in recent months.
The model, who also showed off a new shorter wavy hairstyle very similar to the Girl's Aloud star, gave the first glimpse of her shrunken frame in a micro mini-dress as she stepped out with close pals Aoife Cogan and Jenny Lee Masterson.
Once known for her curvy size 10 figure, the tiny mum-of-one appears to have had no trouble shedding her baby weight since giving birth to her son AJ, 18 months ago.
One onlooker was overheard gasping: "Look how skinny her legs are," as Ruth worked the red carpet with her model pals before swiftly entering the cinema to avoid interviews.
Ruth announced her separation from Munster rugby star husband Alan Quinlan last month.
Earlier this year, her best pal, Sarah McGovern, told the Herald how the yummy mummy had "pinged" back into shape following the birth of her son.
Meanwhile it was mayhem on the red carpet as an endless list of high-profile stars showed up for the premiere, including movie stars Dublin jersey recipient David Spade and Kevin James.
But it was Adam Sandler (43) who attracted the biggest cheers -- he spent so much time signing autographs he ended up being late into the movie.
"They were very nice people out there," he told the Herald.
"I'm still getting over the jet-lag but looking forward to having some fun while I'm here."
The close-knit comedians, who have been good friends since the beginning of their careers, enjoyed a night of private celebrations in the Gravity Bar in the Guinness Storehouse.
Controversial funnyman Chris Rock shockingly revealed he had already tasted the "local Guinness and the local pot -- they're both pretty good".
But unfortunately for fans, stunning actress Salma Hayek was forced to pull out of attending at the last minute after injuring herself.
A spokesperson explained that the Mexican actress jetted back to the US after mysteriously hurting herself while in Europe.
Fans were also left disappointed after newlyweds Brian O'Driscoll and Amy Huberman avoided the red carpet.
But the tanned couple, who have just returned from their African honeymoon, were spotted sneaking in a side entrance at speed in a bid to go unnoticed. Other stars included actress Sarah Bolger, new Big Brother evictee Caoimhe Guilfoyle, Lottie Ryan, Noirin Kelly, Alison Canavan, Virginia Macari and Andrea Roche.
