Stars come out as Little Britain's Walliams weds his model bride

A star-studded turnout celebrated the marriage of comedian David Walliams and model Lara Stone.

The couple, who got engaged in January, took their vows at Claridge's hotel in central London yesterday.

Walliams (38) has been dating the 26-year-old Dutch model for around a year.

Among the guests were new parents Lee Mead and Denise Van Outen.

Van Outen, who gave birth to the couple's daughter Betsy 15 days ago, looked relaxed in a black dress with a floral pattern.

Another smitten couple to share in the newlyweds' joy were artist and film-maker Sam Taylor-Wood and fiance Aaron Johnson, who are expecting their first child later this year.

Comedian Ronnie Corbett had clearly planned his wedding outfit carefully as his turquoise socks perfectly matched his wife Anne Hart's tunic which she paired with white trousers.

Other guests included Walliams' mother Kathleen, actress Barbara Windsor, actor James Corden and fashion designer-turned film director Tom Ford.

The bride was wearing a sparkling mini-dress when the couple appeared briefly outside the hotel to have their picture taken by waiting photographers.

The newlyweds smiled broadly and shared a kiss before returning to their guests.
