Sorry lads... catwalk queen Nadia is too busy to search for Mr Right

Top model Nadia Forde believes that her Mr Right is out there -- but she's too busy to find him.

The Clontarf girl, who split with Leinster rugby star Luke Fitzgerald in May, says she been focusing on her career in recent months.

Despite having previously been linked with fellow Celebrity Salon star Greg Lake, the 23-year-old told the Herald she has barely given a thought to the idea of a finding herself a new boyfriend.

"It's just not a focus for me at the moment. I'm concentrating on work, friends and family."

But she refuses to rule out the prospect of romance in the future.

"We'll see. When I have a bit more time maybe I'll find someone," she said.

The catwalk queen said she was run off her feet with work at the moment.

"I'm at the opening of the new Savoy nightclub in Cork tonight and next week I'm busy shooting the last of the autumn/winter fashion shows."

Nadia is also very excited about her role as Good Queen Cheryl, daughter of Old King Cole, in the Cheerios' Panto Snow White And The Adventures of Sammy Sausages.

"I start rehearsals for Snow White in the second week in November, so I'm really looking forward to that," she said. "It's really exciting, my professional life couldn't be better."

Before her romance with Luke, the Assets model was in a three-year relationship with FM104 DJ Mark Noble. The couple lived together in Dublin until their split in 2011.

But Nadia says it's just good timing that has led to her getting so many career opportunities since she became single.

"I think I'm just lucky. I don't think having a relationship is ever a distraction from your career," she said.

Ever the romantic, Nadia still believes there someone perfect out there for her. "Maybe Mr Right will be waiting for me down in Cork tonight. You never know."
