Rosanna Davison insists that it was a wet floor and not boozy excess that led to her falling and breaking her right wrist on Monday night.
The blonde beauty, who had attended the Miss Ireland launch celebrations at Buck Whaley's nightclub on Leeson Street, claims that her mishap came about when she slipped on wet tiles in high heels.
"Unfortunately I've no heroic, dramatic story about how it happened. It was a simple wet floor and high heels," she told the Diary.
"It's a bit annoying and very painful but these things happen and it could have been a lot worse. I'll be in a cast for a few weeks but it's just a small hairline fracture. At least it's my right wrist and I'm left-handed."
Rosie (26) -- who posted a photo of her cast on Facebook -- had been enjoying a girls' night out as she partied alongside fellow Assets beauty Hayley Rock, before the pair returned to a friend's apartment, where the fall is said to have taken place.
Prior to calling it a night, the high-profile duo had partied into the early hours at celebrity hotspot Lillie's Bordello, where Hayley works as a hostess.
The leggy beauties and a number of pals were spotted making the most of the festivities at the club, where the entire Andorran football team were busy drowning their sorrows after their 3-1 defeat to Ireland.
Rosie's good pal Laura Toogood has also been sympathising with her, given that the British-born model is currently laid up in bed with a back injury.
Despite her own misfortune, Rosanna is hoping to go ahead with her plans to join a host of big names at tomorrow morning's Cannonball launch on Merrion Square, which she and her longterm beau Wesley Quirke have signed up to lend their support to raise awareness for Barretstown Children's charity.
"I'll try and pop along to the Cannonball launch on Friday -- a cast isn't going to stop me," she explained.
The loved-up pair are due to join No Frontiers presenter Kathryn Thomas, Boyzone's Shane Lynch, fellow catwalk queens Georgia Salpa, Emma Quinlan and Hazel O'Sullivan and Lord Mayor of Dublin Gerry Breen to help kick off the annual event.
Ireland AM star Sinead Desmond and her husband Davy Ryan, who are due to take part in the three-day event, will also be on hand for the launch before taking off in their borrowed Audi R8.
Among the cars taking part will be a Lamborghini, Ferrari, Porsche, Maserati and Bentley.
