She didn't quit panto for CBB - Alan

TV3 star Alan Hughes has revealed that he still hasn't spoken to Georgia Salpa since she walked out on his panto.

The Ireland AM presenter has spoken out to dismiss speculation that Georgia pulled out of this year's panto at the last minute because she landed a job in the Big Brother house.

Georgia shocked her Sleeping Beauty colleagues when she quit via a text message with just days to go.

"I haven't spoken to Georgia since she texted me to say she was pulling out of the panto," he said.

Alan (43) denies comments made by Georgia's agent Andrea Roche last week.

The former model said that Big Brother was the reason that Georgia decided to drop out of the Sleeping Beauty show.

He says he always knew Georgia (26) was going to be a celebrity housemate and that's originally why model Michele McGrath was brought on as a stand in. "We did know, we always knew. The deal was that she was going to share the role with Michele, Georgia was going to do all the shows up until Christmas," he told the Herald.
