THE estranged wife of former Ireland goalkeeper Shay Given joined friends Georgina Byrne and Cecelia Ahern at the annual CARI lunch.
This was Jane Given's first public appearance in Dublin since news emerged that herself and Shay had called time on their 12-year marriage.
Looking radiant in a two-tone blue knee-length dress, the former model and schoolteacher joined her good friends for the annual CARI summer lunch and fashion show.
The lunch, hosted by Miriam Ahern, is in aid of the charity which supports children and families who have been affected by child sexual abuse.
Jane (37), who has two children with Shay, was joined by a host of guests including Miriam's daughters Georgina and Cecelia, RTE weather girl Nuala Carey, Virginia Macari and Roz Flanagan.
Jane was flanked by close pal Georgina Byrne who said she was delighted to see her friend out and about.
"I am delighted to see her here, she comes a lot and we go over to her in the UK," Georgina told the Herald.
In April, it was confirmed that the pair had split with an Aston Villa spokesman saying: "Shay and his wife separated a number of months ago. In the interests of their young family, they expect that their right to privacy continues to be respected."
Speaking fondly about her pal, Georgina said: "She's beautiful in every way, she gorgeous and she's a gorgeous person as well."
Fitness trainer Georgina, who recently revealed she was pregnant with her and husband Nicky Byrne's third child, was wearing a blue shift dress, was joined by mum Miriam, sister Cecelia and mother-in-law Yvonne Byrne as they enjoyed a four- course lunch followed by the fashion show.
