Select number invited to the opening of Celtic Rising: The Show

A select number of VIP guests have been invited to the opening of Julian Benson's production of Celtic Rising: The Show at the Burlington Hotel on Thursday night.

The show has been described as a celebration of the best of Irish heritage and culture and promises to be a unique, fast-paced, fresh and contemporary performance.

  • FANS of the High Kings will be out in force tomorrow night for the opening performance of their new show at the Sugar Club.

On hand to entertain the masses will be Martin Furey, Brian Dunphy, Darren Holden and Finbar Clancy. Doors will open at 7pm with the foursome onstage at 8pm.

  • THE official opening night of the Rat Pack Live from Las Vegas took place at the Grand Canal Theatre last night.

Invitees had the opportunity to relive all their favourite hits from Frank Sinatra, Sammy Davis Jr, Joey Bishop and Dean Martin at the newly opened venue.

The show will run until this Saturday.

  • A handful of media insiders have been invited to attend a special Sony Ericsson summer BBQ next week at exclusive members club, Residence. Guests on the day will be treated to a demonstration of the latest range of mobile handsets and accessories. The event will take place from 12pm until 2.30pm at the venue's unique roof garden on Tuesday, July 13.

  • MODEL Diana Donnelly completed one of her final duties as Miss Universe Ireland this morning when she stepped out wearing a number of Ladies Day outfits chosen by Arnotts to launch the Blossom Hill Ladies Day at the Failte Ireland Dublin Horse Show on August 5.

Meanwhile, a number of invitees will congregate at the Minerva Suite at the RDS this evening for a special reception to officially launch the much anticipated event.

A mini Arnotts fashion show, MC'd by Xpose's Aisling O'Loughlin will take place at 7pm giving guests top tips on what to wear at this year's Blossom Hill Ladies Day.
