Saoirse parties in style as Irish leg of Brooklyn ends

SHE has been hard at work now that she's a bona fide Hollywood hitter – hopping from one movie set to another over the past few years. But actress Saoirse Ronan (right) made sure to make the most of a couple of days off over Easter and let her hair down with friends in style.

The 20-year-old, who celebrated leaving her teen years behind her in between scenes for Brooklyn earlier this month, painted the town red by taking to the dance floor in Lillie's Bordello nightclub in Dublin over the weekend.

Saoirse and her pals were marking the end of the Irish leg of shooting her latest film.

The Carlow native has spent the past fortnight travelling back and forth to Wexford alongside co-star Domnhall Gleeson for the silver screen production, an adaptation of Colm Toibin's best-selling book.

Dressed from head to toe in 1950s garb, Saoirse put in 13-hour days to make sure the crew remain on schedule. The starlet is now preparing to head off to Canada, to complete filming on the movie.
