Samuel flying in to support Duffy at evening of love

Movie legend Samuel L Jackson has spoken for the first time about his excitement at coming to Ireland in two weeks.

The Pulp Fiction actor will be presiding over an invite-only bash called Night For Love at the O'Reilly Hall in UCD on February 13.

Being organised to drum up cash for his own foundation as well as Keith Duffy's Irish Autism Action, he said he's delighted to lend his star backing to such a worthy cause.

"This event gives me the opportunity to share the blessings that come with my success, with deserving individuals or groups," he said.

"It is an honour to work with Irish Autism Action to support their fantastic work. My friends and I hope the event will signify the desire and hope we have to create a better life for all, and the dream we have for a better world."

Headlining at the black-tie event will be Dionne Warwick, while celeb chef Richard Corrigan has devised a menu.
