RTE's Jacqui vows to complete tragic crash brother's list of hopes and dreams

THE brother of RTE Sports presenter Jacqui Hurley wrote a dream list of life goals just 48 hours before he was killed in a car crash.

Now Jacqui, her family and friends have promised to complete everything on the list for charity in memory of her 25-year-old brother.

The sportscaster has told how her brother Sean, a champion motorcyclist, was becoming frustrated with his job as a plasterer.

On November 28 he came home saying "he was sick of what he was doing and Mam said 'lets brainstorm'.

"They sat down for about 15 minutes and had what my mam described as one of the best conversations of their life."

The list ranged from setting up a riding school and winning a world superbike title to opening a shop, running a pub, running a marathon, and driving a digger.

Just 48 hours after writing the list Sean's 4x4 crashed into a tree during a torrential rainstorm with winds of almost 160kmph.

All funds raised will go to the Cardiac Risk in the Young charity and anyone who wants to donate can go to www.cry.ie, click "donate now" and select "Sean's Bucket List".
