RTE send-off for Morgan as she leaves to wed Graeme

NEWLY engaged singer Morgan Deane enjoyed a send-off to remember as she said farewell to her colleagues on RTE's Two Tube.

The Herald can reveal how the cricket WAG finished her twice weekly music slot on the children's TV programme as she prepares to become the wife of South African cricket captain Graeme Smith.

Morgan (26) has now jetted to India for two weeks to support her other half as he and his teammates take part in the Indian Premier League of cricket.

Fresh from the recent excitement of the cricket World Cup, the Cork-born beauty is fast becoming an expert on her fiance's trade, cheering on her beau on her third trip to India since Christmas.

"Morgan finished up on the show last Thursday and had a bit of a send-off with all the crew," said a pal. "She's decided to finish up her slot as she doesn't know where she'll be next September when it returns to the airwaves.

"Once she's finished at the Eurovision [as a backing singer for Jedward] she will be joining Graeme on the road as they begin planning their wedding ceremony.

"No date has been set yet but they're both very excited and looking forward to starting their new life together.

"Graeme obviously has to be in South Africa for his commitments with the team so, longterm, they will be based over there," they added.

After the World Cup, Graeme (30) had been expected to join his teammates at a press conference in Johannesburg but instead flew to Ireland to meet Morgan's family and ask for her hand in marriage.

The sportsman has dated some of the most beautiful women in the world including South African fashion model Minki Van Der Westhuizen.
