RTE star Emma O'Driscoll (30) took a trip down memory lane on her wedding day to wow her new husband with a song dedicated especially for him.
The Hubble presenter has revealed how she reprised her past as a singer in popband 'Six' to wow hubbie Liam Cronin with a ditty at their wedding ceremony in the Salthill Hotel, Co Galway.
"I gave him a surprise when I sang Imelda May's Big Bad Handsome Man to him, with the help of the Camembert Quartet," she said.
"A big surprise for me was Liam's gift of amazing pearl earrings to wear on the day. I got really emotional when I opened his gift."
Earlier in the day, as she made her way to the church, she got her own surprise as her guests belted out a familiar song to her.
"When I came down to the hotel lobby and the lift opened, there were lots of people there clapping and singing Six's 'Whole Lotta Lovin'. It was such a funny moment and it really relaxed me," she continued.
She walked down the aisle at Cill Einde church earlier this month looking stunning in a vintage-style gown from Cork boutique Bridal Bliss while her three pink bridesmaids dresses were created especially by Marion Murphy Cooney.
And Emma said that she knew from the very start that her teacher partner of nearly eight years was 'the one' as soon as they started dating.
"It's hard to identify just one thing. It was just a presence he had that I immediately liked. And a cheeky grin. We just knew from early on that we could never be without each other," she continued. After swapping vows, the pair headed off for a dream honeymoon in Florida where they had a fun-filled time in the amusement parks.
