Rosie's bank balance looking great after Playboy shoot

SHE'S more the 'lady in black' than lady in red. Rosanna Davison is sitting pretty, with more than €130,000 cash in her company bank account.

The boost to the former Miss World's finances comes after she signed a deal – believed to be in the region of €120,000 – to pose topless on the cover of Playboy Magazine.

Records filed by Rosanna's business firm Zanadoo Productions show that her cash-in-hand increased by 51pc to €131,000 between May 2011 and May 2012 last year. This coincides with her taking part in the raunchy shoot.

Overall, Rosanna's accounts for 2012 showed a significant improvement on the previous year. In 2011 she kept €86,301 in her company's account, while accumulated profits slipped from €79,067 to €75,928.

Her profits are now down to €63,226, but her reserves are rising – and with another Playboy shoot in the pipeline the future looks secure for the model who is engaged to Wesley Quirke of Dr Quirkey's Emporium fortune.

The shoot for the German edition of the world-famous magazine took place in the Mauritius Islands at the beginning of 2012.

It caught the eye of Playboy chief Hugh Hefner, who has since asked her to pose for the US edition of the magazine in what could be an even more lucrative striptease.

Herald columnist Rosanna will be the first Irish woman and the second European to appear on the cover.
