Rosanna gets some wedding tips at pal Hayley's perfect day

IT was a weekend filled with butter cream and bridal gowns for model Rosanna Davison.

The former Miss World (29) attended her best friend Hayley Rock's wedding in Kildare.

"It was an amazing day and everything went perfectly for her," Rosanna told The Herald.

Rosanna had a ball but was sure to stay clear of the dance floor when it was time for the traditional bouquet toss.

"I left the bouquet catching to the single ladies," she joked.

Hayley and her husband, Belfast businessman Paul Elliott, got married in Our Lady and Saint Joseph's Church in Caragh before heading to the luxurious Killashee House for the reception.

The former VIP hostess at Lillie's Bordello looked a vision in a form fitting mermaid style wedding dress.

"She looked breathtakingly beautiful," Rosanna said.

"I definitely picked up a few tips for my own wedding," she added.

Rosanna and fiance Wes Quirke will tie the knot early next summer. The pair will say their vows during a romantic service overseas.

"I would like something a bit lighter and floatier," Rosanna explained. "Especially if we're getting married somewhere a bit warmer. I want it to be classical so it will look good in pictures in 20 years."

Hayley's bridesmaids dressed in navy silk Grecian style dresses for the big day.

The dresses were by Two Birds; the wrap style dresses are designed to allow bridesmaids to alter the neckline of their dress in order to suit their size and shape and desired comfort.

Clearly, Hayley was quite considerate when it came to dressing her bridal party but it sounds like Rosanna may be more of a 'bridezilla'.

"I might put my bridesmaids in Big Fat gypsy wedding style dresses just to be mean," she joked.

Rosanna and Wes will also celebrate their nuptials by throwing an old fashioned knees up back at Rosanna's parents house.

"It's for the people who can't travel abroad – family friends or aunts or uncles who don't want to fly," she said.
