Rosanna Davison has chosen a top hotel in Ibiza to host the €100,000 wedding of the summer.
The Herald can reveal that Rosanna is taking a leaf out of Andrea Roche's book and having her wedding in the same venue.
The former Miss World (29) has booked the exclusive Atzaro hotel and spa in Ibiza for her big day, which will take place during the June bank holiday weekend.
Singer Chris de Burgh will give away his daughter at a romantic ceremony on the party island on June 1 when she will exchange vows with long-time boyfriend Wesley Quirke.
Her big day will be a lavish affair as she is joined by her nearest and dearest at the hotel where suites can cost up to €810 a night.
It's the same resort where her good friend and agent Andrea Roche got married in July 2012 to Rob White
A source said: "Rosanna just fell in love with the venue when she went to Andrea's wedding.
"She thought it was the perfect place and just loved the intimacy of it."
Given that the smitten couple are marrying abroad, they are expected to have a civil ceremony in Ireland a few days before jetting off.
Rosanna is going to have a two-day event in Ibiza so she can properly celebrate finally making things official with boyfriend Wes, whom she has been dating since 2006.
Accustomed to hosting big-bash nuptials, the venue has a dedicated wedding team who will help Rosanna plan every detail of her big day.
The venue has an array of tranquil pools and romantic gardens, perfect for guests to relax before and after the wedding.
As a strict vegan, Rosanna will also be handpicking her guests' wedding menu with an emphasis on fresh food.
She and Wes got engaged at Christmas 2012 during a family holiday in Mauritius after he surprised her by going down on bended knee.
Rosanna has always said that she wanted to get married abroad, and many thought she would choose the Indian Ocean island.
But she has decided to make things easier for her guests by keeping it closer to home and opting for the Balearic island.
Rosanna said she cannot wait to get hitched.
"I'm looking forward to being a married woman. My friends say that it doesn't change you necessarily, but you become much closer and you're more of a team," she said.
"I'm looking forward to that. But even being engaged makes us closer. It's your future together and you have to think of all the years ahead of you as a couple."
