Rihanna and me and our seven countries in seven days tour -- Sean

DUBLIN DJ Sean Munsanje has been having "the time of his life" after getting caught up in the madness of Rihanna's 777 world tour.

The former Xpose presenter was one of 150 lucky journalists invited to join the pop superstar on her private plane as she flew to seven different countries in seven days to promote her new album Unapologetic and her Diamonds world tour.

The tone for the press junket was set after Rihanna ordered 100 bottles of champagne on board the plane to butter up the journalists who were also gifted goody-bags, which included diamond bracelets.

But the 30-year-old FM104 personality said he was left gobsmacked by some of the antics of the booze-soaked hacks, with one Aussie journalist resorting to streaking naked in protest at the lack of access to the Umbrealla superstar.

Sean said that mayhem kicked off after their Sunday night flight from Berlin to London was delayed by over two hours, leading some journalists to become frustrated by the lack of time spent with the global star.

"Rihanna played her fifth concert of the 777 tour and everything went off without a hitch -- until we boarded the flight to London two hours later," he said.

"On board, everyone is treated as a first-class passenger so food and drinks were served before take-off.

"As soon as the wheels lifted from the runway, a sing-song started which quickly turned into chants about access to Rihanna.

"Even though Rihanna is pulling out all the stops, some people aren't happy.

"She's given a huge amount -- intimate concerts each night, first class service on board and goody bags."

Sean added how he was having the "time of my life" but that jet lag was starting to affect some people, given the huge distances being covered as they took in cities including Los Angeles and Mexico.

In his FM104 blog, Sean recounted how things came to a head when the journalists began heckling organisers on the plane about the inadequate amount of interviews with the chart-topper.

"That was one of many chants about access and an Australian radio DJ called Tim Dormer streaked through the plane naked.

"This caused everyone to go even more crazy," he continued.

"It was all in good fun but now the question is on everyone's lips.

"As her Unapologetic album comes out today, will she react and talk to us today?"

However, in good news for all her Irish fans, he further fuelled hopes that Rihanna, who plays her last show in New York City tonight, would bring her Diamonds World Tour here next year.

Sean also revealed how her manager, rapper Jay Z, told him that the singer will be announcing her full dates this week.

It was also revealed that she "loves playing Ireland" and hopes to bring her concert here.
