Rebecca casts a spell on on-off beau Evan at her spook-tacular 21st bash

Miss Ireland Rebecca Maguire celebrated turning 21 with a glitzy birthday bash in Dublin over the weekend.

And the Diary can reveal how the Belfast-born beauty was joined at The Wright Venue in Swords by none other than her on/off boyfriend Evan Doherty.

The pair had been dating for about three months before going their separate ways last August, after she had spent a month competing at the Miss World contest in Mongolia.

But the couple certainly appear to have become close again, judging by cosy pics of the pair posted up on the beauty pageant winner's Facebook page.

She was turning heads dressed after taking inspiration from the Batman series while dressed in a skimpy Poison Ivy outfit.

And she obviously appears to have woven a spell over celeb snapper Evan, who was by her side at the party for most of the night.

He went dressed as a skeleton for her birthday bash, matched with a smart black tuxedo, with Rebecca revealing how they both had their make-up done by 'Make-Up Forever'.

She also posted up a picture of a black leather bag from Brown Thomas with the message: "Birthday presents, he did good. Love it."

Rebecca first met photographer Evan after winning the Miss Ireland pageant last April, after he shot her portfolio for her.

The pair's romance appeared to be going swimmingly before she headed off to the Miss World, which saw her out of the country for a month,

Shortly after she came back from the pageant, she changed her Facebook status to read 'single' and confirmed they had gone their separate ways.

Speaking recently to the Diary, she said how she was "still single" and wasn't dating anyone right now, but her birthday weekend could have changed all that.

The Pharmaceutical Studies student's actual birthday is November 1 but she said she wanted to celebrate it in the weekend before Halloween.

And just two days after her birthday, she'll be attending the IN magazine awards after she was nominated in the Most Glamorous Female category.

She'll have some stiff competition though -- Frank Lampard's fiancee Christine Bleakley has also been given the nod. Rebecca's good pal and fellow model Tiffany Brien is another nominee, with the two girls enjoying a glam-filled night together.

Asked about her nomination, Rebecca said: "To be honest, I was actually quite surprised as I wouldn't consider myself as the most glamorous woman by any stretch."

She has confirmed that she plans to head straight back to pharmacy degree at college once her Miss Ireland reign ends in May.
