Rachel to turn on Ladies Day glamour

IRISH Sky Sports News beauty Rachel Wyse will be saddling up for a return to Cheltenham Festival.

But this time around, the beautiful presenter will be watching all the action from the VIP area as she relives last year's glory.

And she has revealed to the Diary how she'll be turning on the glam full for Ladies Day event on Thursday.

Rachel is a guest of Sky Sports, who have invited the former model into their private box. She'll also be cheering on the celebrity riders in the St Patrick's Derby charity race.

Last year the former professional show jumper raised over €60,000 for a Cancer Research UK after taking the reins and entering the race.

And this year she was keen to lend her support to those taking part, knowing how much the nerves would be jingling.

"The date has been in the diary for the last year, I wouldn't miss it for the world," she said. "It was such a rewarding thing to do and being given the opportunity to ride at the festival was such a huge honour.

"We managed to raise over €250,000 between the 12 jockeys, which exceeded our expectations."

She added: "There's some great racing to look forward to over the week. It's great to see Kauto Star confirmed for the Gold Cup on Friday. That will be a special moment not only for those connected to the horse but racing in general."

The former City Channel presenter has spent the past year living in London and said it finally feels like her second home.
