IF you've noticed TV star Brian Purcell looking especially dapper, now we know why -- he's getting fashion tips from the new lady in his life.
The Diary can reveal how the burly Kerryman is officially off the market after a string of dates with stylist and fashion writer Roxanne Parker.
The couple have been spotted socialising all over Dublin and, according to a close source, are getting on like a house on fire.
Charming Brian, who is businesswoman Jackie Lavin's nephew, was recently spotted treating Roxanne to a meal out in Ballsbridge restaurant Bel & Bellucci, the eatery owned by former nightclub owner Robbie Fox.
And as a clear sign that he's definitely taken with the head-turning brunette, he even brought her along to the Kerry Association's 60th anniversary dinner in the D4 Berkeley Hotel on Friday night.
"You can't get more public than that as everyone knows everyone in the association, it's a really tight-knit community so the fact that Brian brought her to that spoke volumes," said a source.
"They had a great night together and no one was in any doubt that they were together and enjoying each other's company very much.
"It's still early days between them, they have been on a couple of dates over the past month and are getting on great, having a lot of fun together."
A firm fixture on the social scene, when he's not busy filming The Apprentice or running his PR company, Brian has been a bachelor for the past number of years.
A keen horse-rider, he previously dated RTE star Geri Maye, who was his last serious relationship. He even got down on bended knee and popped the question while she was filming You're A Star in 2005 but the pair then went their separate ways and last December saw her walking down the aisle with Limerick beau Peter Collins.
Gregarious Brian has previously made no bones about his desire to find a nice lady to settle down with, confessing how he was always too busy. But now that he has more time, amid reports that The Apprentice will only come back as a celebrity version this summer, he clearly is better able to concentrate on his personal life.
One of Ireland's best-know stylists, Roxanne is also a familiar face on Dublin's social scene and has worked with many of the country's top models. The Dublin beauty regularly features on shows like TV3's Xpose and Ireland AM and regularly writes about all the hottest style trends.
