Top author Cecelia Ahern has moved from her luxury Malahide home and she's hoping to make a tidy sum from the sale.

Cecelia and her family have already left the property and it could be yours for a cool €1.3m.

The large house is perfect for a family as it's tucked away in a cul de sac in a new development near the coast road of Malahide.

It has a formal lounge, a dining room, a kitchen and breakfast room looking out to their landscaped garden, and a TV room.

The detached family home also has a playroom which could be converted into a study, as well as four bedrooms - two of which are en-suite.

The brochure adds: "On inspection of this fine property viewers will be suitably impressed by the quality of craftsmanship, the bright, spacious and well laid out interior on offer as well as the private landscaped rear garden.

"All amenities are within easy reach, including Malahide Village with its enviable selection of restaurants, cafes and boutiques."

The property also boasts underfloor heating, a converted attic, and a built-in entertainment system.

Cecelia recently told the Herald said she doesn't work from home - instead travelling to an office to write while husband David Keoghan minds children Robin (4) and Sonny (2).
