Prodijig's success set to bring TV dance fnal here

THE next Got To Dance final could be held in Dublin's O2 arena, thanks to Irish troupe Prodijig's recent win.

The former Riverdance performers were the first Irish group to be crowned champions of the competition and won their title last month in London's Olympia Theatre.

Sources have now divulged that due to Prodijig's phenomenal success, Sky bosses are considering hosting the next grand finale in the capital.

"They have brought a totally different perspective to the series and due to their massive fanbase in Ireland, it would make sense to host the next final in Dublin," a source said. Meanwhile, Got To Dance judge and Diversity heartthrob Ashley Banjo revealed to the Diary that our local dance scene is a cut above the rest in terms of talent.

"Ireland are killing it when it comes to dance at the moment.

"Irish dancers, when it comes to hip hop, are sick. Then let's take traditional dance, like that of Prodijig, they are amazing."

Ashley, who spent four days taking in the local sights with his fellow dancers, delighted fans at the O2 with Diversity's sell-out performance on Saturday.
