Pippa kicks off birthday at the Horse Show

TOP model Pippa O'Connor celebrated her 27th birthday in style this weekend as she and her new hubby Brian Ormond enjoyed a day out to the Dublin Horse Show at the RDS.

The Diary caught up with the loved-up couple on Saturday afternoon as they kicked off Pippa's birthday celebrations a day early by cheering on the AR beauty's brother, Cian O'Connor, who has been competing at the annual equestrian event since it kicked off last Wednesday.

Pippa and her close-knit family also had plenty to smile about after her sister Susanna gave birth to her first child, Finn, last week.

The blonde beauty explained how she's thoroughly enjoying being an aunt for the first time and is now looking forward to doing some babysitting for her new godchild.

Pippa wet the baby's head with her other half on Saturday night when they stepped out to Krystle nightclub, where the Kildare model's agency colleague Rosanna Davison was also on hand to help her toast the milestone.

The group were in good company, with soccer internationals Daryl Gibson, Andy Keogh and Stephen Hunt also spotted at the popular club.

Meanwhile, fellow Horse Show attendee Amy Huberman opted for a quiet night in with her hubby, Irish rugby captain Brian O'Driscoll, instead of hitting the tiles after the stylish event.

The actress was spotted checking out her brand new wheels, a Range Rover Evoque, where a display model was installed in the main arena of the RDS for Saturday evening's Land Rover Puissance contest at the Horse Show.

Brian, meanwhile, was at home cheering on his teammates as they took on Scotland at Murrayfield stadium.

The sports star missed out on the pre-Rugby World Cup friendly clash as he is recovering from a neck and shoulder injury.
