Pat's my true match, but no wedding bells just yet, says Sarah

TOP model Sarah Morrissey has revealed how her longterm boyfriend Pat Jennings Jr is the one for her -- but she won't be walking down the aisle just yet.

The couple, who have been dating for almost four years, have made their romance work despite Sarah being based in Dublin while her boyfriend, goalkeeper with Derry City football club, lives in Newry.

Assets beauty Sarah commutes to visit him every weekend and says she will eventually have to compromise and move up North in order to make their relationship work.

"It will happen but not yet," she said of a future wedding. "He's based in Newry now so we're still long distance.

"Maybe in a few years when I'm a bit more settled and of course when we actually live in the one place. That would definitely be a big help.

"We're definitely not ready for marriage yet, but someday," she added.

Sarah claims that living far away from each other is not a problem for her and Pat, given that it's all they've ever known.

Sarah told the Diary: "I think it works for us, we don't have time to get sick of each other because we have to make the most of the time we do get to spend together.

"I'm well used to driving up and down to Pat's place every weekend. I have to be here in Dublin during the week because that's where the modelling work is and I also have to be here to do my slot with RTE.

"I do it every Thursday but I haven't been there in about three weeks because it's catwalk season and I just haven't been able to make it. They're great, they're quite flexible.

"It's a great team, they're all really young and fun. It's a bit of a hobby for me really, it's not work because I enjoy it so much," she said.

The smitten beauty went on to explain how she and her other half enjoyed a romantic getaway to New York after Christmas to celebrate Pat's milestone 30th birthday before her modelling schedule became hectic once more.

"A friend of ours is also getting married in La Manga in Spain in June so we're going to head over there for two weeks and make a holiday of it," she added.

Sarah is not sure yet if she will be able to make tomorrow night's much-anticipated Peter Mark VIP Style Awards, given that she has already committed to model at the Harvey Nichols fashion show.

"Obviously I'd love to go. I missed it last year because it was one of my best friend's weddings but what can you do? You can't turn down work. That has to come first," she added.
