The Jackson family have said troubled teen Paris is on the road to recovery and "getting better".

Her uncle Jackie said she was recovering from her suicide attempt. "She's going to be OK. She's getting better."

Paris was hospitalised on June 5 after attempting suicide. The 15-year-old remains in hospital in LA where she is reportedly receiving psychiatric care.

"We wish her a speedy recovery," her uncle Marlon said. "We love her. After all that she's gone through, losing a father – that's hard on a youngster."

They were speaking at the premiere of a Cirque du Soleil show paying tribute to Michael Jackson called: Michael Jackson ONE.

The brothers seemed happy to be revisiting Michael's life and work. "ONE is all about the music," said Marlon Jackson.

"This is part of giving back and sharing his legacy."

The stage show follows Cirque's previous Jackson show, Immortal.

Michael brothers Marlon, Tito and Jackie were at spectacular.

Katherine Jackson and Paris's siblings Prince and Blanket also watched the show, alongside their guardian T.J. Jackson.

Prince and Blanket were ushered out of the theatre before the final curtain call, enabling them to avoid the media glare.

Prince sat next to his girlfriend Remi Alfalah.

It was a star-studded evening with teen sensation Justin Bieber and Neil Patrick Harris in the audience.

The two-hour dance and acrobatic extravaganza's songs included Dirty Diana, I'll Be There, Thriller, Beat It and Bad.

A hologram of Michael was the climax of the Man In The Mirror dance routine.
