I HAVEN'T had much chance to relax since I returned home from Africa last Thursday so I made sure to fit in some time with my nearest and dearest at the start of the week.
For Paddy's Day on Monday we had the best intentions to go into town, but in the end we decided to stay in and do a big brunch in my house.
I had about 15 people over to mine, including my Voice of Ireland co-host Eoghan McDermott, so that was great fun.
It was well-needed because I had been away for 12 days. I only got back last Thursday and then I went straight into scripts and rehearsals for the first live show of the Voice of Ireland over the weekend so it was lovely to catch up with everyone.
It was back to work on Tuesday and I had a script meeting to go through the break down of this weekend's episode.
I also watched last Sunday's show back to get a feel for it as it was the first live show.
I made a few notes, everyone is still getting their head around the new live series so you feel like it's your first day back at school.
It was a buzz getting back up on the stage for the live show and we had drinks in the green room afterwards to celebrate.
But it was a quiet enough affair because it is still early days so everyone was wrecked and had their own stuff on – Kian (Egan) had an early flight back to London on Monday to work on his album.
The weekends are like school nights now and are quiet because I am full-on at work so I have to fit in spending time with my boyfriend, Padraig.
He will come out to the show this Sunday with some of my friends so that will be good for us.
On Wednesday evening I went for a run, my first time in two weeks. I have to get back to some level of fitness as I'm hoping to run the marathon later this year.
Yesterday, I was in the studio doing voice-overs for the Voice and then we're back in to it today for the rest of the weekend.
I will have a wardrobe fitting with my stylist for the show Ingrid Hoey later and we have two outfits that we usually narrow it down to before deciding on the final choice.
The dress I wore from Om Diva last Sunday got a great reception and flew out of the store.
I was delighted to hear that as it is a great boost for local businesses.
