Our style queen Angela is tipped to land UK TV deal

DUBLIN stylist Angela Scanlon knows her stuff when it comes to looking hot -- and is being tipped to host a new show across the UK and Ireland.

She's already graced the pages of US and UK Vogue and American Elle, and she recently hosted London Fashion week with Xtra Factor presenter Caroline Flack.

As her career goes from strength to strength, it should come as no surprise that the Dubliner is now in talks to host her own on show on British television.

She appeared on RTE's The Love Clinic last month and this November joins top model Daniella Moyles as a roaming reporter on RTE's The Movie Show.

"It's nice doing something outside of fashion," the 30-year-old told the Herald. The pale beauty has several big TV gigs lined up in the UK with a regular slot on Channel 4 show Sunday Brunch.

When she's over in London, Angela hangs out with friends including MTV star Laura Whitmore, Amanda Byram and Bressie.

"We all went for drinks with Niall Horan last time I was over. And now I have all these random 1D fans following me on Twitter.

"Niall is pretty low-key but we were at Philip Treacy's after-show party so there were a lot of big names in the room.

"Grace Jones was there and Niall is just a pup next to her. But he's a lovely lad -- we were all dancing and were the last ones to leave. Typical Irish."

If she does land her own TV segment, Angela will not be afraid to shoot from the hip.

"The biggest mistake Irish women make is the whole tanorexic look," she said. "We go way too far with the Fake Bake."
