Oprah's designer to dress Grainne for VIPs

OPRAH Winfrey's favourite designer has created a stunning gown for Grainne Seoige to wear at the VIP Style Awards, the Herald can reveal.

Kerryman Don O'Neill's fame hit new heights after US chatshow queen Oprah wore his gold sequinned dress when she accepted her honorary Oscar.

After Don (45) revealed to the Herald that he hoped to dress Grainne (38), she contacted him straight away. The Galway beauty will discover this Friday if she has won the Most Stylish Woman VIP Award.

Ballyheigue native Don says he was delighted to work with the RTE star.

"Grainne is a pleasure to work with, she is gracious and so appreciative," he told the Herald. He explained that the stunning Crimecall presenter had the perfect look to match his sleek collection.

"Grainne is a drop-dead gorgeous Irish woman, with her radiant porcelain skin, huge dark eyes, and luscious dark hair," Don added. "She has a heart of gold, which gives her an inner beauty that shines through and is captivating."

The colour of Grainne's dress is being kept secret, but Don revealed: "Grainne will wearing a signature gown, that captures the essence of the brand. It is hand embroidered with over a million sequins and took four weeks to complete.

"Grainne has a gorgeous hourglass figure and this dress is designed to hug every curve in an elegant, flattering way."
