One Direction superstar Niall Horan was obviously enamoured with his tour Down Under, judging by his latest message.
The Westmeath native revealed how much he loved performing to their fans in Oz, stating in his inimitable fashion: "Holy Mother of God, that was mental. We love Australia, can't wait to come back next year -- its been an amazing tour."
They wound up their sell-out tour by giving the ultimate gift to fans, a promise to return next year.
They were given a heroes' welcome upon landing in Oz on April 10, with fans clamouring to see Niall, Harry Styles, Zayn Malik, Liam Payne and Louis Tomlinson in action on stage. The former X Factor finalists have now confirmed they'll be returning to perform in Brisbane on September 11, 2013 and finish up in Perth on September 29.
Niall said: "Our fans are simply the best in the world. The support they have shown us has been incredible and we're all so grateful to each and every one of them. We can't wait to see everyone in Australia again next year when we come back to play our world tour in 2013."
The group recently made music history by becoming the first British/Irish boyband to top the US charts with their debut album Up All Night.
