Oh Nadine, what has Hollywood life done to your curvy figure?

Girls Aloud singer Nadine Coyle has tried to reassure her army of fans over her shrinking frame.

The appearance of the once-voluptuous performer, snapped this week looking extremely thin, has raised concerns among fans.

Nadine (24) has been living in Los Angeles and working on a solo album for the past year, but it appears that her weight has dramatically plummeted since the move.

Fans wrote to the singer on Twitter to voice their concern over her shockingly thin figure.

But Nadine replied to a worried fan saying: "Pictures can look very different depending on what you'd like to see."

Her manager, Bruce Garfield, has insisted that Nadine was in "fabulous shape" and said that she had been keeping fit by doing a lot of running near her Los Angeles home.

Earlier Nadine, who is currently dating New York Giants football player Jason Bell (31), admitted that her weight regularly fluctuates by half a stone or more.

But she said that she never went on diets.

"I don't like being too skinny," she said, "but I've always been really thin and I've been doing exercises that build up my muscle.

"I have always felt really healthy and I do eat quite a lot," she added. "I like to look like a woman, with things up front and at the back."

Concerns were first raised about Nadine's weight when she started dating Desperate Housewives actor Jesse Metcalfe (31).

But the singer, who was once voted Sexiest Legs in Ireland, admitted that while she would never be a size zero, she has had "issues" with her thin legs.

"They're just too skinny and I've never liked them," she said. "I'd look at them sometimes and want to throw up. They're like tooth picks."

And on her Twitter page this week, Nadine quashed rumours of a fight with Girls Aloud bandmate Cheryl Cole (26), and even said that the pair might team up to sing.

"I'm hearing stupid talk about Cheryl and I having a fall out," she said. "Def NOT the case. I've written a song I'd love for us to duet on. Stay tuned."

Fellow girl-band member Kimberley Walsh (28) fuelled speculation that there was a major rift in the group.

"The plan is ... well, basically Nadine needs to come over from LA," she said. "We need to chat and book it in because there are five people's diaries to work around, rather than just one."

But, Nadine responded by saying that the speculation that she was delaying a Girls Aloud reunion was untrue.

"Laughing at people suggesting I'm holding up GA. Really?? Let's be realistic. Open your eyes. It's made out like I have all the power," she said.
