Now the boys want to join in the Xpose fashion game too

IT looks like TV3's Xpose girls could soon have some competition on their hands with plans to produce a new entertainment show with an all-male panel of reporters.

The Diary can reveal how the new show will attract a new audience of male fashionistas eager to pick up some tips.

"It's still very much in the early stages of planning but there seems to be a gap in the market for a show like this," said a programme insider.

"Men are becoming more and more fashion conscious nowadays and want to be able to tune into something like Xpose aimed at the male audience.

"The pilot is being put together by an independent production company at the moment so no decision has been made about what station would air it yet," they added.

Males tipped to land a spot on the new series include former Xpose presenter Sean Munsanje, stylist Darren Kennedy and Kerry footballer Paul Galvin.

Reigning Mr World Kamal Ibrahim is leading the pack when it comes to hosting the show, after beating off stiff competition to present the pilot.

The Limerick-born socialite has been spotted out and about filming links for the show and is said to have impressed producers with his skills in front of the cameras.

In more good news for Kamal, it was announced this week that he has been shortlisted as a finalist in this year's Man Of Style category at the Peter Marks VIP Style Awards. He will go head to head with Paul Galvin, Will McCreevy, Baz Ashmway and Jedward.
