Now tangoed Rozanna is the (non-orange) face of fake tan

NOW we know that every cloud can have a silver lining -- or a gold one when it comes to fake-tan disasters.

Following our story last week on how the newly crowned Miss Universe Ireland Rozanna Purcell was left looking tangoed before she was named the pageant's queen, a tanning company has stepped in to ensure history doesn't repeat itself ahead of the Miss Universe finals in Las Vegas

Rozanna (19) has become the face of Korara, an Irish beauty brand.

And to prove that she's got it right, Rozanna posed in a bikini yesterday showing a flawless fake tan Paris Hilton would be proud of.

Last week, Rozanna vowed to the Herald that she had learned from her mistakes at the finals in the Wright Venue. Enterprising bosses scooped up the Assets model after she hit the headlines for the tan mishap.

And, sporting a purple bikini and a healthy looking glow, the brainy beauty opted for a more natural look as she modelled the organic tanning product.

After the finals at Miss Universe Ireland last week, where she beat 25 other beauties to take home the crown, Roz said she laughed off all the negative jibes about her tan.

"I just try to laugh at everything, there's no point in taking it too seriously. Loads of people are going to criticise you no matter what -- and I think that was just the easiest thing to comment on," she told the Herald.

"I think I'm lucky in that the stage was quite dark when I was on and then when the lights went up, the photographs look pretty unflattering."

She admitted that she hoped to be sponsored by a fake tan company before she jetted off to Las Vegas for the Miss Universe finals next month, and all of her dreams are falling into place as of late.

The UCD student is being hotly tipped as a contender to take home the Miss Universe title -- and is travelling to Colombia to link up with top pageant coach Miguel Martinez, who personally requested to work with her. Her odds of being named first Irish winner of Miss Universe have been slashed.
