SHE'S been the self-proclaimed poster girl for singledom for more than a year now, but it looks like RTE weather presenter Nuala Carey's quest for love has finally come to an end.
The Diary can reveal how the glamorous TV personality has put her Bridget Jones days behind her after finding romance with a new beau in recent weeks.
The bubbly beauty (31) first set tongues wagging last month when she was spotted looking cosy with a mystery man during a night out in the capital city.
And, according to Nuala -- who has been single since the end of a seven-year relationship in 2007 -- says her blossoming new romance with the businessman is going from strength to strength.
"I am seeing someone at the moment," she confirmed. "I'd rather not give away his name or any details like that as he's not involved in the media industry and it wouldn't be fair, but it's all going really well.
"We haven't really gone out publicly yet to a media event so it's early days but fingers crossed.
Just last March Nuala hit the headlines when she joined a number of other media personalities, including reality star Breffny Morgan, on the Late Late Show to discuss her difficulties in finding love on Irish shores.
The chatty blonde later incurred the wrath of Herald columnist Michael O'Doherty when she revealed during her interview with Ryan Tubridy that having a public persona made it difficult for her to find a lasting relationship.
Last year, meanwhile, the Monkstown presenter took to the airwaves on Derek Mooney's RTE One show, Mooney Goes Wild, alongside her pal Ciara Carroll in the hopes of finding the men of their dreams.
However, Nuala insists that the slot was a one-off social experiment and says her new romance came about through more conventional methods, after the pair met through mutual friends.
