No hard feelings as Sara nabs club prize

Celebrity hotspot Krystle may have been pipped at the post for Best VIP nightclub, but co-manager Conor Buckley and his team did have some good luck at the In Dublin Awards.

The Harcourt Street club was the winner in the Best Beer Garden category, beating off stiff competition.

Among the guests at the star-studded bash in Blackrock's Suite 54 were models Suzanne Jackson and Dearbhla Hogan, Valerie Roe, Tara Sinnott, Brian Fallon, Brian O'Malley, Michael Wright and several of R'n'B superstar Rihanna's backing dancers.

Model Sara Kavanagh insisted there were no bad feelings with her ex-boyfriend Conor when she and her colleague Michele McGrath scooped the award for best VIP nightclub on behalf of Buck Whaley's.

The Assets beauties, who are the resident hostesses at the Leeson Street club, were delighted when they were awarded the coveted title.

"It's not awkward at all to be honest," the beauty queen said of her relationship with her ex. Luckily there were no tense moments between Conor and Sara's new boyfriend of eight months, Alan Byrne as the hunky personal trainer could not join her at the event due to work commitments.

Instead she and Michele, who has just returned from a trip to Italy to visit her rugby player boyfriend Mark Siddons, enjoyed a girls' night out.
