TV babe Tess Daly is set to make her first Irish appearance since her husband Vernon Kay's sex text scandal.
The 38-year-old Strictly Come Dancing presenter will meet and greet her Irish fans at a book signing of her new tome at Easons on O'Connell Street on Saturday at midday.
The news come after reports that her other half (35) has lost out on a sponsorship deal with Alfa Romeo worth more than €120,000.
Yet the Irish leg of her promotional tour for The Baby Diaries is still steaming ahead, irrespective of the recent troubles facing the celebrity couple, who have two children.
There was huge shock in showbiz circles after the Family Fortunes host, renowned for his squeaky clean image, was forced to admit he had sent racy text messages to five different women.
Tess initially cancelled a number of public engagements to promote the book as the couple, who have been together for a decade, privately dealt with their marital issues.
But now she has resolved to put the scandal behind her after working through things with her husband.
"It's been tough as you can imagine, but I've taken some time out to think things through and at the end of the day we've had ten great years together, we've got two beautiful kids and we both think that's worth fighting for," she said.
On the public nature of the scandal, she continued: "Dealing with it in private is difficult enough but dealing with it in public is even harder."
Vernon, who sent texts to Page 3 model Rhian Sugden, later made a public apology to his wife on his Radio 1 show.
