Nasty Nidge back on our streets as Love/Hate films a third series

SPORTING his trademark tracksuit top and sinister sneer, Love/Hate's Nidge takes to the streets of the capital.

Viewers saw Nidge, played by Tom Vaughan Lawlor, take over from slain John Boy (Aidan Gillen) in the previous series of the popular Dublin gangland drama.

His character will be seen getting to grips with his newfound power in the third series, expected to be aired later this year.

Our pictures show the Love/Hate crew filming scenes on Camden Street last night, with a camera mounted on the windscreen of the car Nidge is driving. The scenes show Nidge barking orders into a phone with somebody sitting beside him.

Filming for the third series of the hit RTE drama has been taking place in the capital over the past couple of weeks.

The crew were also filming scenes on the city's south quays last week which saw Robert Sheehan, who plays Darren in series, throwing what appeared to be a pipebomb at a car parked outside a pub.
