My WAG-tastic time with the Villa boys in Krystle VIP bash

ROBBIE Keane and Spurs may have ended up in hot water over a Dublin party but that hasn't stopped the Aston Villa boys hitting town.

The Herald can exclusively reveal that some of the Premiership's top players partied the night away in two of the capital's best known nightclubs during a four-day stint here.

Ashley Young and Curtis Davies led the pack of high profile players at VIP haunt Krystle on Thursday night as they partied into the early hours of the morning.

John Carew, Nathan Delfouneso, Gabriel Agbonlahor and Steve Sidwell also decamped to the Harcourt Street venue after a day of training.

But the players spent most of their night fighting off wannabe WAGs as they stuck together, shunning the dancefloor -- and took it relatively easy on the booze.

However, certain players lived up to the stereotype of footballers living in excess -- swapping Champagne for Jagerbombs.

As our exclusive pictures show, the players were happy to party the night away at the elite club -- their second night in a row at a VIP Dublin hotspot.

The boys were also spotted soaking up the atmosphere at Swords hotspot The Wright Venue on Wednesday night.

Luxurious

The group, who had earlier that night enjoyed drinks in the luxurious surroundings of Gilbert and Wright's bar in Malahide, were shown to one of the Wright Venue's exclusive €1,500 a night VIP suites overlooking the dance-floor upon arrival.

"The lads were in great form and were keen to let their hair down after a tough few days training," said a source.

"They had dinner in Malahide and then went on to Gilbert and Wright's bar for a few drinks.

"Richard Dunne is a big fan of the Wright Venue and partied there just last month with Robbie Keane, Stephen Hunt, John O'Shea and a few others to celebrate Kevin Doyle's wedding.

"He and the Aston Villa guys decided on the spur of the moment to head there to continue the celebrations and travelled by taxi.

"They seemed to really enjoy it and were happy to mix with fans. They also left a big tip at the end of the night for the staff who were looking after them," they added.

Meanwhile in Kildare, Spanish soccer giants Villarreal FC followed in the footsteps of Real Madrid yesterday when they jetted into town to train at the exclusive Carton House, in Maynooth.

The squad are set to complete a six-day pre-season training camp, which includes two friendly games against Bray Wanderers and Athlone Town.

Star players such as Giuseppe Rossi, Jozy Altidore, Marcos Senna and Nilmar will be put through their paces under tight security on the hotel grounds.
