My speedos and fake tan ... mortified

Humiliation... pure humiliation. It's all in a day's work, living in Clerys for our FM104 Phoneshow 104-hour challenge. Listeners voted in favour of me carrying out the task of the day yesterday -- and boy was it a task.

Ninety minutes on a cross trainer exercise machine in the window of Clerys covered in fake tan and wearing nothing but a pair of skimpy Speedos -- not very flattering.

Well it didn't seem to bother the hundreds of FM104 listeners who headed into town to watch. My fellow DJ and housemate Adrian Kennedy gladly stood by in the background as I made a complete fool of myself. I've never been so embarrassed or humiliated in my life.

Luckily the lads from The Script popped in to lend their support or in the words of Glen from the band: "You lads must be wired to the moon doing this stuff."

Hundreds of girls (and a few men) queued up outside the window from early morning to catch a glimpse of the band.

As soon as they had left, Amanda Byram called in to say hello.

One of the things myself and Adrian love about doing this is that you never know what's going to happen or who's going to call in. Let's just say that the conversation between Amanda and ourselves will never be repeated in public.

We're well over halfway through the 104 Hour challenge in aid of the ISPCC. I miss home -- so does Adrian but he's too macho to admit it!
