My brown turban WILL catch on, insists Sonya

STYLIST Sonya Lennon claims she will continue to go against the norm when it comes to her fashion choices, no matter how much criticism she receives.

The Off The Rails co-host insists she was merely ahead of the style posse when she donned a risque brown turban to complete her outfit at the Arnotts Autumn/Winter Fashion Show, which took place at the Henry Street store last night.

And while Sonya admits she often ends up being slated for her style choices, the RTE star is adamant that she has no intention of toning down her daring wardrobe any time soon.

The chatty blonde, who will co-present her third season of the hit show this autumn, believes that others will follow suit when it comes to her unusual choice of headwear.

"It's just a turban. I'll keep championing them. I may have to get slated a couple of times before people get it but it's worth it if it gets the message across," she told the Herald.

"Scarves, headscarves and turbans are very much on-trend this season."
