2FM's Paddy McKenna is a big fan of Movember – but wife Joanne "despises" his new handlebar moustache.
The two tied the knot in September this year but Paddy said Joanne's affection for him has already started to wane because of his new handlebar moustache.
"I think it adds structure to my face but Joanne absolutely despises it," he said.
"She says 'I don't even recognise you – what's that about'. She's definitely not the biggest fan of it."
Paddy is growing the moustache for Movember and says the dreaded "tash rash" has been a bit of a passion killer.
"We would love to have kids in the future – it's something we'll be working on, but not during Movember. Not with this moustache," he joked.
Aside from that, Paddy said he is loving married life.
"The wedding itself was a brilliant day and we've been buzzing off since then.
"We went on honeymoon to Mexico and California. So it was pretty incredible."
Paddy presents Weekenders with Ruth Scott and has recently made his first foray into TV.
He followed in the footsteps of Darren Kennedy, Vogue Williams and Angela Scanlon by shooting a documentary for RTE 2's Reality Bites.
"I have a reality show going out on November 20, it's called The Underdogs.
"We followed three different teams; the Irish wheelchair team as they try to qualify for the European Championships, the gay Irish football team and the homeless football team."
"I follow them around as they try to qualify for different leagues."
Last night, Paddy joined Jenny Buckley, Sile Seoige and Daniella Moyles to take part in a comedy improv night in the button factory.
