Morgan goes it alone with Coronas' Danny

SINGER Morgan Deane is set to make a name for herself as a solo artist after signing up to collaborate with The Coronas frontman Danny O'Reilly on a new single.

The brunette beauty (26) who shot to prominence last year with the now defunct pop-group Industry, explained how Mary Black's talented son has agreed to help her on her quest for success when it comes to breaking the Irish music industry.

"I'm really excited about working with Danny," she told the Diary. "I first met him through some mutual friends in the business and I think he's such a talented and inspirational musician.

"He and the other guys in the band just keep getting bigger and bigger all the time so I'm really thrilled that he's finding the time to work with me.

"We'll start writing in the next few weeks and then I'll be busy in the studio after that," she added.

Morgan went on to explain how she and her D4 businessman boyfriend Dave Murphy, spent time with the Heroes or Ghosts singer on Saturday afternoon when they joined fellow music fans in the VIP area at Oxegen.

The couple later hightailed it back to Dublin for a night on the tiles at celebrity hotspot Krystle, where US superstars the Black Eyed Peas were hanging out.

And while Morgan insists they are more loved up than ever, she says there's no truth to rumours that they are planning a move to Dave's adopted home of South Africa.
